Role Overview: The Spanish Language Content Strategist will translate web pages, blog posts, and marketing materials from English to Spanish while ensuring content reads naturally and professionally for Spanish-speaking audiences. This is an on-call contract position with intermittent work availability based on demand.

Location: Remote position (U.S. based), available to 1099 contractors in any contiguous U.S. state.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate English-language web content, business documents, and marketing materials into Spanish while maintaining original meaning and tone
• Review and proofread Spanish translations for grammar, accuracy, cultural relevance, and voice consistency
• Maintain glossaries of key terms and ensure consistency in branding across all translated materials
• Collaborate with content, SEO, development teams, and editorial staff to finalize translated pages and materials
• Use translation software tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or Smartcat when needed
• Manage workflow across multiple translation projects while meeting established deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Fluent in both Spanish and English with native-level proficiency preferred
• Bachelor's degree in translation, Spanish language/linguistics, or related field
• Certification in translation from American Translators Association or equivalent professional certification required
• 2+ years of experience in translating, proofreading, and editing English to Spanish content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and translation management tools
• Knowledge of U.S. Spanish language conventions and ability to localize content for specific target audiences

Compensation & Benefits: $35 - $55 per hour Remote work flexibility with potential for government background check requirements.
