About May Mobility: May Mobility develops autonomous vehicle technology for municipal transportation systems, providing solutions that support public transit infrastructure and community mobility services.

Role Overview: Senior Manager of ADKi will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for conducting investigations to improve autonomous vehicle hardware and software integration. This player-coach role focuses on ensuring reliability, performance, and functionality of existing fleet and future programs.

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan with moderate travel requirements (11-25%).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead expert-level troubleshooting processes to triage field issues and implement structured problem-solving approaches
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to improve autonomous vehicle system performance and reliability
  • Assist and advise technicians on proper troubleshooting and maintenance of autonomous vehicle systems
  • Plan vehicle integration team activities across supported platforms and cascade lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Lead acquisition and development of instrumentation for rapid analysis of autonomous vehicle performance data
  • Drive collaboration across diverse engineering organization including field support, software, safety, and production teams
  • Work with quality team to troubleshoot and resolve internal and supplier quality issues
  • Develop team competencies through mentoring and challenging team assumptions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years relevant work experience with 7+ years leading engineering teams and delivering products on schedule
  • Experience with robotics or ADAS integration and vehicle controls embedded systems
  • Electronic hardware vehicle integration experience with in-vehicle validation systems
  • Working knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, and Serial networks
  • Master's degree and experience with by-wire systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Python or similar programming languages for vehicle data analysis preferred

Compensation & Benefits: $125,000 - $155,000 annually
