About Carbyne: Carbyne provides emergency collaboration technology including live video streaming, real-time chat, and location tracking to help public safety agencies respond more effectively to emergencies.

Role Overview: Partner with Account Executives to drive adoption of public safety software solutions by providing technical expertise throughout the sales process. Serve as technical advisor bridging complex technology solutions with emergency services requirements.

Location: Must reside near major airport hub with ability to travel 70% for customer meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical discovery calls and conduct product demonstrations for emergency services clients
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation and solution proposals for complex deals
  • Provide technical support for RFP responses and procurement processes
  • Build relationships with PSAP directors and emergency operations leadership
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate customer requirements
  • Guide customers through technical aspects of solution implementation
  • Maintain expertise in emergency response technology and public safety industry trends

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years Sales Engineering experience in Telecommunications, Networking, or VoIP platforms
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Working knowledge of IP Networking, IP Telephony, and enterprise SaaS deployments
  • Experience architecting and positioning cloud solutions, preferably AWS
  • Proven track record winning complex technical deals through value engineering
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams on technical proposals
  • Ability to influence technical decision-makers in complex stakeholder environments
