TextMyGov - Account Executive

About TextMyGov: Founded in 2019, TextMyGov is a pioneering government communication technology company serving municipalities across the United States and Canada. The company provides innovative texting solutions that enhance government-citizen interactions and communication efficiency.

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to drive sales of our smart texting software to local governments, managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing deals.

Location: In-office in Logan, Utah

  • 6:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 60-90 daily calls to cities and counties
  • Perform virtual software demonstrations
  • Manage sales pipeline in Pipedrive CRM
  • Close deals with government decision-makers
  • Collaborate with sales leadership team

Qualifications:

  • Proven outbound sales or cold calling experience
  • Strong Zoom and demo presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Competitive and resilient sales approach
  • Coachable with growth mindset
  • CRM experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits: Total Compensation Potential:

  • First Year: $65,000 - $80,000+
  • Second Year: $80,000 - $100,000+
  • Base Pay: $15-$20/hour
  • 40% Commission on Closed Deals
