SimpliGov - Regional Sales Director

SimpliGov provides cloud-based workflow automation, secure forms management, and e-signature platforms designed specifically for public sector digital transformation through no-code SaaS solutions.
Role Overview:
The Regional Sales Director will drive growth in key regional markets, focusing on State agencies and departments. This role involves managing the complete sales process while building regional presence through direct sales contributions and local partnership development.
Location:
Regional position targeting State of California agencies, with consideration for candidates in other U.S. locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete sales process from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and achieving revenue targets
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through consultative solution sales processes with government stakeholders
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Operations, and Executive teams to provide account management within assigned territory
- Track customer information, forecasts, and reports using Salesforce while ensuring data accuracy
- Build and maintain prospect lists using strategic marketing data and other sources for lead generation
- Maintain robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of quarterly and annual targets
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience with focus on public sector sales at state, local, or federal level
- Enterprise sales experience highly preferred with proven track record of working at executive level
- Strong technical knowledge of Content Services Platforms and Intelligent Process Management, particularly workflow automation
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with proactive approach to prospecting and pipeline management
- Experience developing relationships and working extensively at executive government level
Compensation & Benefits:
$150,000 - $180,000 annually plus bonus and commission accelerators
