RapidSOS - Account Executive, Public Safety

About RapidSOS: RapidSOS operates an intelligent safety platform connecting life-saving data from 500+ million devices to over 16,000 first responder agencies, supporting 171+ million emergencies annually through direct integration with 911 and emergency response systems.

Role Overview: The Account Executive will drive sales growth and expand RapidSOS's footprint in public safety technology through consultative sales focused on government organizations, public safety agencies, and first responder networks.

Location: AR, AL, MS, LA, TN, SC, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own full sales cycle from prospecting to closing large, strategic deals with public safety agencies
  • Develop and manage relationships with C-level leaders, procurement teams, and technology stakeholders in government organizations
  • Navigate long sales cycles (6-12 months) and government procurement processes including RFPs and contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to drive adoption and tailor emergency response solutions
  • Drive market expansion strategy and identify new business opportunities to accelerate growth
  • Operate effectively in fast-paced startup environment while managing complex technical sales processes

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in complex, technical sales including SaaS, GovTech, Cybersecurity, Healthcare Tech, or Enterprise Software
  • Proven track record of selling to government, enterprise, or regulated industries with multiple decision-makers
  • Technical and business acumen with understanding of SaaS solutions, cybersecurity, or AI-driven technology
  • Experience translating technical solutions into business value for government stakeholders
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in high-growth environments
  • Experience with government procurement processes and RFP responses preferred

Compensation & Benefits: $110,000 - $130,000 base salary with $220,000 - $260,000 on-target earnings plus equity options Flexible work environment with opportunities for rapid career advancement.
