Role Overview: Proposal Writer will create compelling, data-driven proposals that demonstrate Via's value proposition to transit networks and government partners. This role involves developing strategic narratives for competitive procurements while working cross-functionally to support business development objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, review, and edit comprehensive proposal submissions for transit agencies, municipalities, and educational institutions
  • Communicate Via's technical capabilities and operational strengths in response to partner requirements
  • Translate complex product specifications into clear, accessible content for procurement decision-makers
  • Coordinate with Partnerships, Expansion, and Finance teams to develop competitive procurement strategies
  • Contribute throughout procurement lifecycle from request evaluation through proposal creation and submission
  • Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadline requirements
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate representation of product capabilities and implementation approaches

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience in long-form writing and project management with RFP/RFI/RFQ experience preferred
  • Exceptional writing abilities with demonstrated track record of successful business communications
  • Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively
  • Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Understanding of public transit systems and transportation accessibility challenges
  • Attention to detail with ability to manage complex projects while maintaining strategic perspective
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes and proposal development preferred

Compensation & Benefits: $65,000 - $85,000 annually
