Role Overview:
Write compelling, data-driven proposals that convey the value of Via's products to transit networks. Develop understanding of partners' transportation challenges and craft strategic narratives to support Via's growth in expanding transit accessibility.
Location:
New York City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, review, and edit comprehensive long-form proposal submissions for transit agencies, municipalities, and schools
- Communicate Via's technical capabilities and operational strengths to address potential partners' transportation needs
- Translate complex product specifications into accessible prose for procurement decision-makers
- Coordinate with Partnerships, Expansion, and Finance teams to develop strategies for competitive procurements
- Contribute throughout procurement process from request evaluation through proposal creation and submission
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in long-form writing and project management with RFP/RFI/RFQ experience preferred
- Exceptional writing skills with demonstrated ability to drive business value through written communication
- Strong project management abilities with clear communication skills in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Understanding of public transit importance and motivation to improve worldwide mobility access
- Attention to detail with ability to manage complex projects while maintaining strategic perspective
Compensation & Benefits:
$65,000-$85,000 annually
