SimpliGov - Professional Services Project Manager

Role Overview:
You will lead and manage the successful implementation of SimpliGov's platform for government clients, responsible for planning and managing implementation projects following internal deadlines and within budget. This includes managing resources, coordinating team members, and interfacing directly with clients to ensure high satisfaction and successful solution delivery while assisting their digital transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for SimpliGov platform implementations, from kickoff through go-live and post-launch support
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and client satisfaction
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Manage internal teams including business analysts, solution engineers, and technical consultants
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating as needed
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and best practices
- Support development of Statements of Work (SOWs) and change orders
- Leverage project management software to create dashboards, reports and automated follow-ups, using AI to identify risks and late tasks
- Guide customer project teams on best practices in project management, change management, and end user adoption
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience managing software implementation or SaaS projects, preferably within Professional Services or consulting environments
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Proven ability to manage multiple client-facing projects simultaneously
- Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Confluence)
- Experience working with or for government agencies or public sector clients (preferred)
- Knowledge of business process automation or no-code/low-code platforms (preferred)
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits:
$88,000 - $92,000 base salary + commissions and bonus accelerators
