Role Overview: The Product Quality Analyst will ensure accuracy, accessibility, and usability of digital products supporting a paid leave benefit program, executing thorough manual testing of web applications and collaborating across multiple project scrum teams.

Location: Remote position (U.S. based), 1099 independent contractor role from July 2025 to March 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support planning, analysis, and execution of QA activities across the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Write, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Execute regression, performance, and validation testing while tracking and reporting defects
  • Validate integrations with backend systems including eligibility engines and document upload systems
  • Perform accessibility testing and ensure compliance with relevant government policies
  • Log detailed, actionable bug reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, and expected versus actual results

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience conducting manual testing of software products
  • Understanding of QA methodologies including manual, automated, integration, and performance testing
  • Strong analytical skills in problem solving, test planning, and risk evaluation
  • Experience with public sector systems and federal/state benefit programs preferred
  • Strong documentation and test planning abilities with high attention to detail
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits: $70 - $110 per hour Remote work flexibility with potential for government background check requirements.
