Role Overview: Support the People Operations team in developing and implementing strategies to promote positive employee experiences. Maintain personnel files, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and assist with background checks and employment verifications for government consulting projects.

Location: Remote position available in specified states including Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate maintenance of personnel files including secure storage of onboarding documents and offer letters
  • Oversee Posterguard compliance including additions, deletions, and changes
  • Review and process Eden tickets to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure delivery of necessary services
  • Monitor compliance with established policies and regulatory requirements in routine operations
  • Assist in development and implementation of People Operations policies and procedures
  • Analyze People Operations data to identify trends and recommend process improvements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of people services and human resources experience
  • Knowledge of people operations principles and applicable federal and state regulations
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in GSuite, Slack, Zoom, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • May be subject to government background check or security clearance requirements
