Role Overview: The People Operations Business Partner supports the Manager of People Operations in developing strategies that foster strong manager relationships and drive HR initiatives. This role serves as a bridge between HR and business units, managing cross-functional projects and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Location: Fully remote position available in specified states including AL, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NV, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TX, TN, UT, VA, WA, WI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver HR projects ensuring completion on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business objectives
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business units, HR, finance, legal, and IT for program implementation
  • Support change management efforts including communication planning, training, and adoption strategies
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements for employee management, reducing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to managers while identifying training and development needs
  • Organize and lead weekly/monthly meetings with HR and managers to strengthen relationships across business units

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR experience with at least 2 years in project management role
  • Strong project management skills with formal training preferred (PMP, Agile, Lean)
  • Thorough knowledge of people operations principles and applicable federal and state regulations
  • Strong competency with HRIS systems and proficiency in GSuite, Slack, Zoom, Excel
  • Ability to work independently with discretion and confidentiality in fast-paced environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
