Role Overview:
Inside Sales Representative will focus on outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification to generate pipeline growth. The role involves building relationships with decision-makers in government agencies and contractors while collaborating with sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies.
Location:
Hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, and other sources
- Conduct targeted outbound prospecting to identify and engage potential government clients
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients through regular communication
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase platform value
- Manage and track sales activities in CRM with accurate, up-to-date information
- Collaborate with SDRs and Account Executives to ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities
- Research industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inside sales with track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales enablement tools
- Experience in tech or startup environments preferred
- Knowledge of government operations and public sector preferred
- Experience selling to federal, state, or local government agencies a plus
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and contract vehicles preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
$130,000 OTE
