Authorium - Junior Solutions Engineer

About Authorium: Authorium's customers are seasoned government executives who are also on the cutting edge in their commitment to innovating very manual and complex document processes such as procurement, budgeting, grants and more. We are looking for an experienced Junior Solutions Engineer to work alongside other Solutions Engineer team members to configure products for clients and answer technical questions, including mapping processes to products.

Role Overview: You will play a crucial role in interpreting customer requirements to build configurable solutions to meet their needs as a Junior Solutions Engineer. You'll be at the forefront of our platform's best practices and serve as a team Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all things Authorium, working with seasoned government executives committed to innovating manual and complex document processes.

Location: Employees within 30 miles of hub cities (San Francisco, Sacramento, Washington D.C.) required to work onsite Tuesday-Thursday, with remote work available other days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert and input Microsoft Word documents into Authorium solution manually or automated, ensuring preservation of original content, formatting, and overall design
  • Apply business logic to effectively translate documents into software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise during platform configuration
  • Proofread and edit documents to ensure they are error-free and meet quality assurance standards
  • Maintain meticulous records and perform thorough quality assurance checks
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and provide technical support to clients

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years applicable work experience at B2B SaaS company, within software industry, or equivalent education experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 1-2 years work experience in similar role
  • Proven experience in data entry, document management, or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and enterprise software solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Ability to understand and disseminate highly complex and technical information
  • Independent judgment with quick ownership and leadership capabilities
  • Sense of urgency with ability to find efficient solutions
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Naturally curious, eager to learn and proactive in sharing knowledge
  • High EQ with strong collaboration skills
  • Process-oriented with automation/efficiency mindset
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly evolving startup environment

Compensation & Benefits: $65,000 - $78,000 salary Flexible PTO, 100% employer-funded medical/dental/vision insurance, $500 home office stipend, and 401K with profit sharing plan.
