Role Overview:
Lead a high-performing product management team in shaping the future of Granicus products. Translate long-term vision into actionable product strategies while driving innovation across our suite of government technology solutions. Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and leadership to deliver products that drive measurable impact and contribute to product success and profitability.
Location:
Remote-first position with globally distributed team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive product strategy by translating 3-5 year vision into clear, actionable roadmap aligned with business goals
- Lead, manage, and mentor team of Product Managers, fostering culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Own product roadmap prioritization based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility
- Champion user-centric design and data-driven decision-making using analytics, customer feedback, and market research
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Implementation, Support, Customer Success, and Sales teams for seamless product delivery
- Establish and refine product management processes, tools, and best practices to scale development effectively
- Represent Granicus as product evangelist, articulating vision and value proposition to stakeholders and customers
Qualifications:
- 5+ years product management experience with at least 2 years in leadership role managing and scaling product teams
- Proven success in Agile environment with servant-leader mindset and track record of developing high-performing teams
- Strategic thinking ability to connect market trends, customer needs, and business objectives into compelling product strategies
- Strong technical understanding of software development with ability to engage deeply with engineering teams
- Exceptional communication skills to influence across all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to drive product success and profitability through strategic planning and execution
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
- Private equity-backed environment experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
$165,000-$185,000 base salary
