Verra Mobility - Finance Director
About Verra Mobility:
Verra Mobility develops technology solutions for traffic safety and smart mobility, operating over 4,000 safety cameras and processing nearly 165 million tolling transactions annually for government agencies and commercial fleets.
Role Overview:
Partner across the Technology Business Unit to model strategic and financial vision while reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer. Provide executive-level analysis and recommendations to maximize organizational performance and shareholder value.
Location:
Mesa, Arizona
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting to drive efficient operations
- Support annual planning and quarterly forecast processes including headcount and operating expense projections
- Manage and update long-range forecast models for the IT organization
- Develop playbooks to identify, track, and report on IT cost initiatives
- Perform variance analysis and present findings to executive leadership
- Partner with Accounting Department to ensure accurate monthly results and performance reporting
- Create quarterly reporting and KPI analysis for executive leadership
- Communicate complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial business leaders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting with advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years progressively increasing responsibility in finance roles
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with proficiency in Office applications
- Experience with Oracle/NetSuite Planning and Budgeting systems
- Ability to develop complex financial models and summarize key metrics for executive audiences
- Strong presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, challenge assumptions, and achieve results
- High attention to detail with sense of urgency and hands-on approach
