Role Overview: You will oversee and manage relationships between Nava and New Jersey State and Local Government clients. This role involves analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, developing capture plans, and leading cross-functional teams in delivering client solutions.

Location: Remote position available in: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strategic pipelines and capture plans for targeted New Jersey opportunities
  • Develop capture strategies including solution design, pricing approach, and teaming strategy
  • Work with Proposal Managers and cross-functional teams to develop competitive proposals
  • Conduct competitive assessments and analyze proposal sections for win themes
  • Identify teaming partners and develop pricing frameworks aligned with technical approaches
  • Manage internal bid activities and coordinate with contracts department
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with New Jersey government stakeholders
  • Identify forecasted opportunities through government databases and stakeholder meetings
  • Provide business development training and facilitate skill development for teams

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years developing solutions for New Jersey State government
  • Experience leading end-to-end government contracting from client insight to proposal management
  • Deep understanding of New Jersey government procurement processes, budgets, and funding
  • Proven ability to reach and influence state government decision makers
  • Experience with agile software development on large government transformation programs
  • Proven track record of winning contract bids and managing multi-vendor teams
  • Strong relationship-building abilities both internally and externally
  • Experience with proposal writing, pricing strategy, and post-award analysis
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits: $130,000 - $160,000 annually (potential up to $250,000 with performance bonus) Comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) match (4%), annual performance bonus, parental leave, sabbatical leave after continuous service, and professional development budget.
