Role Overview:
You will help our government clients undergo a digital transformation as a Technical Product Manager so they can be more responsive and adaptive to changing priorities and user needs. As a product manager for platforms and infrastructure, you'll be responsible for the foundational components that other government teams use to build digital products and services, focusing on both the developers using your product and the end users they serve. By building modern cloud-based platforms and infrastructure, you'll help government agencies migrate off legacy systems so they are better able to adapt to changing needs over time, combining technical fluency and product management skills to help government clients modernize legacy systems and migrate critical functions and data to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define vision, strategy, roadmap, and measures of success for platform and infrastructure products, including data infrastructure, data pipelines, and API ecosystems
- Influence government clients and shape their overall strategy to modernize mainframe systems and unlock value of cloud infrastructure and API-first approaches
- Work with designers, product managers, project managers, and technical leads to discover and synthesize market research, user needs, business requirements, and technical approaches
- Engage with developer teams to understand user needs and pain points; work closely with designers and engineers to iterate and improve developer experience
- Define direction, scope, and priority of projects from high-level initiatives to specific features, user stories, and business metrics
- Work with technical leads to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of technical products, platforms, and patterns
- Work with cross-disciplinary teams to build solutions optimized for security and privacy
- Design systematic and scalable approaches that enable customers to migrate to cloud and modernize
- Develop, roll out, and support modern DevSecOps methods, tools, and capabilities for developers and end-users based on customer and stakeholder needs
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver new product assets working backward from customer needs (market messaging, customer engagement tools, reference architectures, maturity models, knowledge base, service-integration solutions, new platform services)
- Research and follow technical trends in industry, assess emerging products and companies to measure potential value or threat
- Proactively socialize, iterate on, and build buy-in for product initiatives with team, government partners, and other contractors
- Represent Nava's outcome-centric and user-centric approach in discovery meetings with agencies and contractors
- Measure progress toward business goals or user needs and translate data insights into action
- Review technical specifications, architecture, and networking plans, act as Product SME in security, scalability, and infrastructure design discussions
- Serve as product spokesperson and subject matter expert to technical/developer community
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience developing products designed for technical customers that have scaled to solve enterprise-level problems (cloud developer platform products or API products)
- Experience and knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS highly desirable)
- Comfortable articulating big picture and mapping/communicating technical details of system to stakeholders, customers, and partners
- Ability to generate strong product plans and build buy-in across multiple teams, including government partners and other contractors
- Ability to influence decision-making at all levels within organization using variety of skills and tools
- Strong bias towards action; ability to step up into team gaps and ambiguous situations to structure team's action plan
- Ability to execute with incomplete information; great product instincts and ability to create order from divergent needs
- Ability to identify market trends and shifts that will affect product direction, update plans based on future expectations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical, user experience, and project management trade-offs

- Must be legally authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship
- May be subject to government background check or security clearance depending on contract
Compensation & Benefits:
$114,000 - $153,000 salary
