Role Overview: Senior Cloud Engineer will ensure security, reliability, and efficiency of cloud infrastructure supporting government sector SaaS products. The role focuses on continuous monitoring, incident response, automation, and proactive measures to optimize and scale cloud resources.

Location: Hybrid position in Atlanta, GA (3 days/week in office at 1155 Perimeter Center).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and performance
• Implement monitoring solutions to track performance, availability, and health of cloud resources
• Ensure cloud resources comply with industry standards and security policies
• Implement automation tools and frameworks for efficient deployment and resource management
• Manage access controls and disaster recovery plans for cloud infrastructure
• Monitor cloud expenditure and implement cost control strategies
• Collaborate with development, SRE, and security teams on technical and business objectives
• Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams for complex systems
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response

Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience in cloud computing with proficiency in Azure or AWS
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Background in SaaS with experience across multiple product lines
• Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, ARM, and Terraform
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, and Lambda
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience with Git operations and version control (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps)
• GCP expertise and StateRAMP certification experience preferred
• DevOps Engineer certifications (Microsoft, AWS) preferred
