Role Overview: Senior Software Engineer will build a new product from the ground up, working on a greenfield project with opportunity to shape architecture and user experience. The role involves collaborating with product and leadership teams to develop scalable solutions for government operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop new platform using modern Python backend technologies
• Own projects end-to-end from early design through deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and refine product vision
• Make key technical decisions on stack, tooling, infrastructure, and development processes
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and advocate for engineering best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and help build engineering culture
• Work in fast-paced environment building systems from scratch

Qualifications:

• 5+ years professional software engineering experience
• Proven experience building and scaling applications from scratch
• Strong backend experience with Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
• Experience working in early-stage startup or fast-paced environment
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong product sense with customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work autonomously and thrive in ambiguous environments
