Role Overview: You will own discovery and solution design for opportunities across government verticals, serving as a mission translator who connects public sector challenges with transformative solutions. This strategic pre-sales position focuses on guiding government stakeholders through structured exploration of needs and crafting solution strategies that align with agency mission priorities.

Location: Remote-first position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own discovery and solution design for qualified opportunities across government verticals
  • Facilitate structured discovery sessions with stakeholders to uncover goals, metrics, blockers, and context
  • Translate customer needs into compelling, actionable solution designs reflecting product fit and implementation strategy
  • Partner with Account Executives to shape opportunity flow including qualification, stakeholder coverage, and demo alignment
  • Work cross-functionally with Solution Architects, Product, and Services teams to validate approaches and flag risks
  • Contribute to internal frameworks, configuration playbooks, and reusable content based on live deal experience
  • Share insights from discovery and solutioning to inform messaging, product direction, and field enablement
  • Produce clear, aligned solution documentation supporting seamless demo execution and proposal development

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in presales, consulting, solution architecture, or public sector SaaS
  • Strong track record facilitating discovery and aligning technology to real-world customer needs
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills across technical and business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to develop structured solution designs using templates, visuals, and narratives
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and collaborative solutioning environments
  • Consultative, customer-first mindset with deep interest in public sector modernization
  • Experience with government stakeholder engagement and understanding of public sector complexity
