About Granicus: Granicus provides comprehensive cloud-based solutions for government communications, website design, meeting management, and digital services to over 5,500 federal, state, and local government agencies worldwide.

Role Overview: Enterprise Account Executive will generate subscription sales for SaaS platform and related services within an assigned territory focused on large local municipalities and their agencies. The role involves managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation while collaborating with internal teams and partners.

Location: Remote position with approximately 25% travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales generation and market expansion within designated territory
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team to maintain robust lead pipeline
  • Develop compelling value propositions and deliver customized presentations
  • Lead pursuit teams for large-scale opportunities and coordinate internal resources
  • Guide prospects through the purchasing journey and manage complex sales cycles
  • Execute comprehensive sales plans to exceed predefined targets
  • Manage all sales activities including prospecting, opportunity tracking, and revenue forecasting
  • Maintain detailed documentation in Salesforce CRM system
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews to management

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in B2B software/SaaS sales with government clients preferred
  • Experience with complex, committee-driven sales environments
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Experience managing full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation
  • Understanding of government procurement processes preferred

Compensation & Benefits: $110,000 - $125,000 base salary plus commission
