May Mobility develops and deploys autonomous vehicles powered by Multi-Policy Decision Making technology, providing autonomous transportation services to communities while bridging public transit gaps.
Role Overview:
Supervise daily autonomous vehicle operations to ensure safe and positive experiences for riders and operators. Work independently and with teams to coordinate logistics, handle operational issues, and maintain customer satisfaction standards while reporting to the Site Operations Manager.
Location:
Field-based position with minimal travel requirements (0-10%).
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure operations follow rigorous safety guidelines and develop a culture of safety excellence
- Follow daily protocols and track site performance metrics to systematically improve outcomes
- Collect, document, and report mechanical and vehicle-related issues to engineering teams
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and handle escalations that could impact operations
- Train and coach autonomous vehicle operators through quality assessments and ride-alongs
- Monitor vehicle health using company observation tools and ensure all vehicles are monitored during operation
- Follow incident response protocols and communicate details to appropriate parties
- Operate trail/recovery vehicles and obtain certification to operate May vehicles autonomously
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience as people leader in fast-adapting, customer-focused environment
- Technical aptitude with data collection and organization abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- High comfort level making judgment calls in ambiguous situations
- Understanding of customer service best practices
- Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Compensation & Benefits:
$40,000-$55,000 annually
