About May Mobility: May Mobility develops autonomous vehicle technology to provide transit solutions that bridge public transportation gaps in urban environments.

Role Overview: Oversee operational site for autonomous shuttle services by managing teams of supervisors, technicians, and vehicle operators. Ensure seamless operations while maintaining safety standards and customer satisfaction for municipal transportation partnerships.

Location: Field-based position with moderate travel requirements (11-25%).

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure operations follow safety guidelines and develop comprehensive safety culture across site operations
• Implement daily protocols and track site performance metrics to systematically improve operational outcomes
• Meet financial goals and align spending with site operating budget requirements
• Partner with People Operations on staffing decisions and performance management for site personnel
• Coordinate with engineering teams when technical issues arise or require escalation to maintain service continuity
• Train new site leadership and test rollouts of vehicle technology in partnership with Field Operations
• Cover shifts across various times including outside normal business hours as operational needs require

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Business, Technical Operations, or related field with 1+ years people leadership experience
• Proven experience making decisions in ambiguous situations with customer-focused approach
• Previous experience developing processes and managing projects in fast-paced environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail across multiple platforms
• Valid driver's license with willingness to undergo driving record check
• Bachelor's degree and startup environment leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of Google Suite, Slack, Jira, and Asana preferred
