Role Overview:
Senior Site Reliability Engineer will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of government-focused services. The role involves building and maintaining robust infrastructure, automating processes, and implementing site reliability best practices while providing on-call production support.

Remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support according to team on-call rotation schedule
- Monitor and maintain system health and performance of services and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes
- Design and implement system improvements to enhance reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with software engineers on application requirements and deployment processes
- Create and maintain documentation for processes and troubleshooting guides
- Participate in capacity planning activities to anticipate future infrastructure needs
- Implement security best practices to protect systems and data
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in site reliability engineering, system administration, or similar role
- Proven track record managing large-scale, high-availability systems
- Expertise in Linux/Unix systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby) and programming (Go, Java, C++)
- Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for logging and monitoring
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- AI/ML infrastructure experience including model deployment and AWS Bedrock preferred
- Cloud certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, GCP Professional DevOps Engineer) preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
$70,000 - $80,000 base salary plus bonus
