ClearGov - Sales Development Representative

Role Overview:
You will build the sales pipeline to support ClearGov's rapidly growing business through cold outreach to local government and K-12 school district prospects. Working closely with Account Executives, you'll research and prospect new accounts to secure a steady flow of qualified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build qualified pipeline via cold outreach to local government and K-12 customers
- Make 60-70 cold calls per day to local government and school district prospects
- Send 50+ prospecting emails per day to target accounts
- Book 60+ demos per quarter within assigned territory
- Coordinate with Account Executives to develop strategic plans for pipeline optimization
- Prospect and pitch ClearGov solutions to set demos with Solutions Advisors
- Communicate value propositions and overcome objections with prospective customers
- Manage prospecting activities in Salesforce and Gong
- Work all inbound marketing leads within prescribed SLAs
- Maintain accurate CRM data with detailed task disposition and notes
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of SaaS sales development, sales, telesales, or fundraising experience required
- Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, and objection handling skills
- Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding lead generation targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce (or other CRM) and Microsoft Office/Google Docs required
- Ability to work in fast-paced startup environment
- Direct experience selling to government entities preferred
- Self-motivated with positive phone presence and team player mentality
Compensation & Benefits:
$50,000 base salary + $25,000 uncapped variable compensation (first-year target)
