Role Overview: You will own and enhance the customer experience from proof-of-concept to final decision as SimpliGov expands its sales team. This technical role provides pre-sales engineering support to the sales team, serving as a trusted advisor to customers/partners and playing a critical role in designing technical solutions. You'll be a key factor in the success of the sales team and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as SimpliGov technical Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor to key customer stakeholders
  • Leverage technical expertise to effectively understand and navigate customer requirements
  • Gain insight into customer goals and challenges, aligning them with capabilities of SimpliGov platform
  • Collaborate with Sales team to evaluate and qualify customer opportunities, crafting and demonstrating innovative solutions to address their challenges
  • Lead product demonstrations and deliver engaging presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Respond to RFPs with technical expertise and communication skills
  • Participate in industry events and user groups as required
  • Provide analytical problem-solving with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced startup environment

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in presales solutions consultant, sales engineer, or similar role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong presentation abilities
  • Proven solutions engineering skills with eye for detail and follow-through
  • Analytical problem-solver with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced startup environment
  • Self-starting and self-motivated approach

Compensation & Benefits: $80,000 - $110,000 base salary + bonus + benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance, technology and transportation expense reimbursements, health club membership, 401(k) with company matching, and Freedom Paid Time Off policy.
