Role Overview:
You will manage a team of 8-10 enterprise account executives responsible for sales to state government prospects and customers. This leadership role focuses on achieving sales objectives, developing team capabilities, and expanding customer base through strategic account planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, and analyzing variances
- Accomplish sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, training, coaching, and developing team members
- Achieve sales operational objectives by contributing market information to strategic plans and implementing performance standards
- Establish sales objectives by creating sales plans and quotas supporting national objectives
- Maintain and expand customer base through account planning exercises and building rapport with key customers
- Recommend product lines by identifying new platform opportunities and surveying consumer needs and trends
- Coach enterprise account executives through account planning and execution for $100K+ deals
- Execute account plans to scale state market growth over time
- Meet and exceed quarterly quota attainment for the business unit
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of field sales management experience in IT, Information Services, or Business Services
- 8+ years of total field sales experience
- Proven capability managing teams of 8-10 sales professionals
- Experience coaching selling teams responsible for $100K+ deals in diverse sales pipelines
- Success selling to state enterprise government entities
- Impressive track record of C-Level sales activity
- Demonstrated effectiveness selling through partners, resellers, and/or integrators
- Significant accomplishments selling enterprise software, ERP, SaaS, or marketing/communications technology
- Strong consultative approach to positioning services and technology
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Compensation & Benefits:
$125,000 - $165,000 base salary + commission
