Role Overview:
Local Enterprise Sales Director will manage a team of 8-10 enterprise account executives focused on sales to large local government prospects and customers in the central United States. The role involves coaching the team through complex sales cycles involving $100K+ deals while meeting quarterly quota objectives.
Location:
Remote position covering central United States territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of 8-10 enterprise account executives
- Meet sales financial objectives through forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Recruit, train, and coach sales team members on account planning and execution
- Maintain and expand customer base through strategic account management
- Execute account plans to scale market growth in assigned territory
- Identify new customer opportunities through vertical account-based marketing
- Contribute to strategic planning and market analysis for national objectives
- Meet or exceed quarterly quota attainment for the business unit
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of field sales management experience in IT, Information Services, or Business Services
- 8+ years of total field sales experience
- Proven track record managing sales teams responsible for $100K+ enterprise deals
- Experience selling enterprise software, ERP, SaaS, or marketing technology
- Success selling to state and local government entities preferred
- C-Level sales experience and consultative selling approach
- Experience with partner, reseller, and integrator sales channels
Compensation & Benefits:
$125,000 - $145,000 base salary plus commission
