Role Overview: You will manage the contract capture process from pre-RFP strategy development through award, reporting directly to the SVP of Business Development. This role focuses on building a portfolio of mission-aligned IT digital transformation work to modernize government services that support vulnerable populations.

Location: Remote position available in: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full life-cycle capture including strategic positioning, competitive analyses, and client outreach
  • Contribute to go/no go decisions and construct compelling, competitive, and compliant winning proposals
  • Identify and align past performance to support technical solutions with Nava engineers and subject matter experts
  • Participate in compliance checks, gap analyses, proposal writing, and color teams through award
  • Build comprehensive account plans and detailed capture plans for targeted Departments/Agencies
  • Develop opportunity-level insight supporting Nava's mission and strategic growth goals

Qualifications:

  • 6-9 years of business development experience in government contracting IT industry
  • Experience with government proposals, procurements, and federal contracting processes
  • Knowledge of terminology, NAICS codes, and FAR regulations
  • Professional writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Experience representing organizations at industry and networking events
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development, Human Centered Design, DevSecOps, or Cloud technologies
  • Experience working with Veterans Affairs preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits: $130,000 - $160,000 annually Comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) match (4%), annual performance bonus, parental leave, sabbatical leave after continuous service, and professional development budget.
