Role Overview:
You will develop end-to-end testing systems for government partners, modernizing legacy enterprise platforms to improve public-facing processes. This role combines backend development with comprehensive testing to ensure reliable, secure systems that serve millions of Americans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, review, and build well-crafted backend software with fellow engineers
- Develop and maintain test frameworks and scripts for server-side logic and API validation
- Write and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results
- Monitor and analyze test results, reporting defects and performance issues
- Collaborate with government partners and contractors on system architecture and deployment
- Ensure compliance with security best practices in all testing activities
- Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems
- Support hiring activities including interviews and referrals
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in agile, multidisciplinary team environments
- Experience developing APIs in Java and Go
- Proficiency with automated testing tools: JUnit, Postman, Cypress, TestRail, StaticQube
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, and server-side architectures
- Experience with medium to large-scale systems on AWS preferred
- Familiarity with security testing and data protection best practices
- Experience with MADie (https://ecqi.healthit.gov/tool/madie) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Compensation & Benefits:
$107,000 - $120,600 annually
