Role Overview: Audio/Video Installation Technician will build and install AV broadcast systems for government clients including PTZ cameras, switchers, and streaming equipment. The role involves traveling to customer sites for system installations and providing technical support throughout the deployment process.

Location: Dallas, TX (on-site position with customer travel required).

Key Responsibilities:

• Build AV broadcast systems to specifications including PTZ cameras, switchers, and streaming equipment
• Install structured cabling and broadcast systems at customer locations
• Determine resources needed for installations based on deployment plans and blueprints
• Travel to customer sites for system buildouts and installations
• Troubleshoot systems including signal flow, software, and networking issues
• Communicate with customers throughout specification, build, and installation phases
• Test and validate broadcast system functionality

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience with audio/video broadcast equipment
• 2+ years computer hardware installation and troubleshooting experience
• Basic power tool, carpentry, and construction knowledge
• Structured cabling experience for existing walls and pre-construction installation
• Experience with Extron, Crestron, AMX or similar presentation systems preferred
• Live broadcast production experience preferred
• Ability to climb ladders, lift over 50lbs, and work in tight spaces
• Available for travel up to two weeks per month

Compensation & Benefits: $38,000 - $42,000 annually
