About Via: Via builds technology solutions that modernize public transportation systems, providing AI-powered software and operations to transit authorities, state and local governments, and transportation providers globally.

Role Overview: Lead the West Coast sales organization and manage strategic partnerships with transit authorities and transportation providers. Build and direct a high-performing sales team while developing pipeline opportunities with state, local, and national transit agencies.

Location: West Coast territory with 25-50% travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage team of sales and account managers focused on strategic transit accounts
  • Develop robust pipeline of opportunities with state, local, and national transit authorities
  • Navigate complex buying and renewal processes with government stakeholders and budget decision makers
  • Oversee customer renewal and expansion processes with existing transit clients
  • Partner with Finance, Expansion, Growth, and Product teams on operational improvements
  • Represent Via at industry conferences and establish key relationships in the transit sector
  • Research competitive landscape and share market intelligence with stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10+ highly skilled employees
  • 8+ years enterprise software or SaaS sales experience, preferably with public sector relationships
  • Demonstrated expertise in prospecting and developing relationships with senior government officials
  • Track record of quota achievement and consistent territory growth
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level presentations
  • Commercial intuition and judgment in complex deal negotiations
  • Background in consulting or fast-paced product-driven environments preferred

Compensation & Benefits: $300,000-$450,000 total earnings including base and variable compensation Equity package, comprehensive benefits including medical plans and 401K matching
