About Via: Via is a pioneering transportation technology company partnering with 100+ cities and transit agencies to transform public mobility. Founded in 2012, the company develops AI-powered solutions for diverse transportation networks.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Field Manager to oversee daily operations of our Transit-as-a-Service platform, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Location: In-person, Birmingham area 4-5 days on-site per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily transit operations
  • Optimize vehicle supply and service
  • Resolve real-time operational issues
  • Respond to driver and customer feedback
  • Analyze performance metrics
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Scale operational processes

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Operational process development experience
  • Customer service background
  • Multi-site management experience preferred
  • Team-oriented with high responsibility
  • Comfortable with dynamic environments
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • English fluency (additional languages a plus)
